Army Youth Programs in Your Neighborhood 2016-2017Army Youth Programs in Your Neighborhood will be coming to an end on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017. This will be the last day that your Military connected child will be able to participate in this federally funded after school activity.

Please ensure that your child has reliable transportation home after this date if they do not ride the bus. The school day ends at 2:30 with the only exception being the last day of school Wednesday, June 9th, 2017 on which we will be operating on a 2 hour early release at 12:30 pm.

Thank you for your support in making this program successful for 2016-2017 School year.

Image of Todd McCabe DAR Award Recipient Mr.Todd McCabe, Cumberland County Schools’ 2017 Teacher of the Year, was recently honored at Liberty Point Chapter National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) Annual Awards program held at Campground Methodist Church. He was selected as the Chapter’s Outstanding History Teacher of the Year and, currently, teaches at John Griffin Middle School. Larell Higginbotham, a NSDAR prospective member, presented Mr. McCabe with an engraved statue of an American Eagle with raised wings.
