Inportant Notice StampWith the recent change to athletics, 6th graders can now try out for all sports but football.  Students must have a current physical, concussion statement, eligibility papers, and a parent must have attended a sports briefing prior to staying after school for any sport try-out (November 13, 2017).
All required documents can be found on the John Griffin’s website in”ATHLETICS.”  Some papers can be filled out and submitted on line but only after after you register.
Parent sports briefing for winter sports (if you have not already attended):
October 30 & 31st @ 5:30 pm, school cafeteria.

Boys Soccer Division I ChampsJohn Griffin’s Boys Soccer team successfully brought home the title of CCs Middle School Division I Champions.  Pictured left to right (Mr. Dahman- Boys Soccer Coach, Luca D., Tucker S. and Ricky Tucker- Athletic Director). Both students pictured were also awarded JGMS male athlete of the month. Luca D. was selected as JGMS Male Athlete of the month/November and Tucker S. was selected for the month/September.

Food Drive Graphic

John Griffin is kicking off its annual food drive beginning TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31st and will it run through FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1st. We encourage donations of any non-perishable food items that may be used to assist our less fortunate families during the holiday. The homeroom from each grade level that donates the most food, will win an ice cream party. Let’s go PIRATES ☺

Army Community Services GraphicChild & Youth Services Logo

Lenovo and Kramden, Inc., in partnership with Fort Bragg Army Community Service (ACS) and Child Youth Services (CYA), are presenting an opportunity to distribute a limited supply of free refurbished desktop computers to assist with school work for MILITARY FAMILIES with school-aged students from K-12. Military Families interested in participating, must contact the school for an application.  All applications must be turned into the school by NOVEMBER 1st.
